In 1996 David became licensed in the (LEAP®) process and has spent the time since then enhancing his knowlege of the system. He enjoys working with people to gain a better control of their financial lives while empowering them using this powerful process to take advantage of what life has to offer. Prior to joining the FBR Group, David worked for Prudential Life Insurance Company in their Cash Management Division. He is Series 7 Licensed and, as such, is able to offer the full range of financial products. David is licensed to see insurance in the following states: New Jersey, New York, Massachuesetts, Illinois and Pennsylvania. In addition, David is a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table and is in the process of attaining his CLU and CFP designations. David earned his Masters in Business Administration in 1988 from Rutgers Graduate School of Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems and Finance and currently sits on the Board of Trustees for Rutgers School of Business/Management Alumni Association. His Bachelor of Science in Economics is also from Rutgers University.

David Slater has been in the life and health insurance business since 1988 when he joined the Financial Benefits Research Group. A father of two young girls (Veronica Danielle age 7 and Shana Rose age 5) and a husband to his wife Lisa, he is a family oriented man with a zest for life.
